Quading in La Grange

Dallin

Mom and Cody on the way there.

Grandma and Q

Tate and Aunt Cathy

Dallin's battle wounds...
He flipped off the quad and got a few scratches and bruises.

He was tough and got back on and rode again.

I know some of you are wondering, YES he was wearing a helmet.

Mom and Tate

Dallin giving Tate a ride.  He was such a good brother and drove Tate around in slow circles for about 20 minuts while we loaded up the other quads to go home.  Tate LOVED it!  He was mad when we made him get off.

Here is Tate in the car on the way home.  He is holding an ice cream cone antenna ball.  I wasn't able to catch it on camera here, but he kept liking the ice cream like it was a real cone.  It was really funny.

Cody and Tater

We had a good time and no one was seriously injured.  :)  Tate asks ALL the time now if we can go ride quads.

Gone Fishing

We took the kids fishing last month at a local reserve thingy.
The boys LOVE to fish and they go every once in a while, but Brylee never gets to go.  So this time the whole family went.  And wouldn't ya know, the only one to catch a fish was Brylee.  She was beyond happy.  And doesn't she look just like a fisher-wo-man.  Jewels on her shirt, a skirt, flower sandals, and necklace.  All the essentials for an outing to the pond.

Tate and Cody, waiting, patiently...

He must be in awe over the fact that Brylee caught a fish.

Playing in the backyard

Who says you can't go sledding without any snow.  I personally love the My Little Pony slippers.

I LOVE the look on his face.  Such a happy boy.

He's ready for more!

All Done Up

She is such a girl.  She sneaks into my make-up supply and goes crazy.  Pretty funny.

Mud

I told them they could run through the sprinkler and this is what they did instead...

I'm not even sure any of them actually got wet from the sprinkler.

Casey's Wedding

My sister, Casey, got married in March.  It was fun to take Brylee and Tate and go see the fam and be there on Casey's special day.
And we were pretty excited to be getting another great brother-in-law.  You're great Richard!

Here is Brylee and her cousin Halle.  Such cute girls.

My sister-in-law, Cathy, put together a candy table as a favor for all the guests.

Everything looked so good!

My brother, Ryan, was so nice to entertain Tate.
(I can't believe how much Ryan is looking like my Dad these days... Crazy!)
 Q, Brylee, and Halle

Q was the ring bearer for the ceremony.  He looked pretty sharp in his suit.

You looked great Casey!  Congrats to you and Richard!  :)

Mud

It has been HOT here lately.
And humid.

I don't like it.

To beat the heat the kids played on the slip and slide which left a bunch of mud on our lawn.

They could not resist the mud.  Not that I can blame them.
I have some memories of me and mud...

Anyway, can you believe how big these guys are getting.

They thought they looked like gorillas.
Cody was surprised when he looked at this picture because he thought the mud was all over his face.

Brylee and Cody were nice enough to paint Tate with mud, too.
He didn't like it, and kept trying to get his clothes off, thinking that would help him be cleaner.
He was super excited when I offered him a bath.
