Henry's Lake

During the reunion we also went fishing at Henry's Lake in Island Park.
Uncle Todd took Cody out on a canoe to fish.
Dallin proved himself very capable on this trip.  He put his pole together by himself and was pretty independent while fishing.
Kinley was given this floatie as a direct representation of her attitude.

 She's a funny kid.

Tate was nice and helped Grandpa Bushman paddle the canoe.

 There's that cheesy face again.

 Bunny ears from Grandma!?

Tomomi was visiting again from Japan and got to go out on the boats as well.

Tate was content with throwing rocks in the water.
 Dallin also liked throwing rocks.

This was actually back at the Flamm's house, but I found Tate and Cody sleeping like this.
It was pretty cute.

Yellowstone

The family reunion was in Island Park, Idaho.  One day we drove to Yellowstone Park and spent most of the day there.

We got out of the cars to look at some buffalo.  Luckily none were close by so the kids could wander a little.
 Dallin, Tate, and Cody.
Cousins Pearl and Henry, and Brylee.

 Grandma Bushman and Dallin.
 Dallin and Tate.
Brian had school and wasn't able to join us for the reunion, so it was just me and the kiddos.
Luckily, Uncle Todd was nice enough to carry Brylee.
Here we are waiting for Old Faithful to blow.

 Thar' she blows!

Brylee refused to look at the camera...
...so, I grabbed Tate instead, and he wouldn't look either.  Boo.
Looking at a river and Uncle Brent got a little too close to the edge, I guess.  The ground gave way underneath him and he fell, but caught himself.

Yellowstone Falls, I don't know if that's the real name.
Grandpa Bushman with some of the grand kids.
It was a beautiful day to be in Yellowstone.  The weather really cooperated.

First Stop on Our Trip West

We drove to Utah for Katie's baby's blessing.  Then we drove to Rexburg for a day before the Bushman Reunion.  We played with the Flamm cousins, and Tate celebrated his 3rd birthday!
Tate Lyndi had a great time jumping on the trampoline.

They also had fun testing out the kayak.

Tate's birthday cake.  It was yummy.

This is his "cheese" face.  Anytime a camera appears and we ask him to smile, this is what he does.

 He loved the cake.  :)

Thursday Morning Funniness

Today was Cody's birthday!  I should do a post just for him, and maybe I'll get there, later...

But for now, how about some funny stuff from my kiddos!

Yay!

While on our way to the store, in our swim suits, I made the boys put shirts on to go in the store.  They asked why they had to wear shirts.  I told them that most places of business require, shirts, and shoes, etc. to come in.  When we walked in the store Cody said "I hope they don't realize I'm not wearing underwear!"

While at the pool, Tate needed to go poop.  (I know, sorry, I used the word poop.  If that offends you then it's probably not the first time you have been offended while reading my blog.)  So while hurrying to the bathroom, I told Tate to try and hold it until we got there.  Tate put his hand on his bum and said "ok."  I chuckled, and said "Not with your hand!"  He asked "With my finger?"  I told to just try and clench his bum cheeks.  It was funny.

For lunch we had pastrami sandwiches.  The kids always insist they don't want lettuce, tomatoes, or even cheese.  When all the sandwiches were made the kids wanted to eat mine, which had lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.  Go figure.

That's all I can remember right now.  I'm glad I have such goofy kids that can keep me laughing.
