Hand Stands

Brylee taught her brothers a new trick. Now I can't keep them off the couch. It's amazing how fast they all just flip up on their heads. They think it is great, as you can see in their smiling faces. :)

I see you!!!

Brylee has found a new hiding place. She likes to hide on this shelf in the this cupboard of the entertainment center. She gets in there and starts yelling to everyone "I see you!!"

The circus

We took the kids to the circus on St. Patricks day. I think they all had a good time, but Brylee really seemed to love it. She couldn't get enough of the elephants, and she liked all the acrobats and dancers. The circus was better this year than it was last year. The boys really liked the motorcycles! They had motorcycles on tight ropes and one that drove around in a circle up near the ceiling. They thought it was great. They were disappointed, however, that we didn't buy them every over priced toy and snack that was available there... They might as well get used to it! We didn't get any really good pictures, but here are two anyway.

St. Patrick's Day Breakfast

Last year we had green pancakes with green buttermilk syrup. This year we wanted to do something different so we had green ebelskivers. (Dallin's request) They were, of course, really good. The kids really enjoyed eating them!

Smile!!...please...

Brylee is pretty funny. We can't seem to catch many pictures of Brylee smiling. When we pull out the camera she will either hide her face, or say cheese but not smile, or flash a quick smile that is super cute but we can't take the picture fast enough to get it on camera. This makes for a frustrated Mommy and some funny picturs. These are a few that just didn't turn out quite right...

Brylee's Birthday

Brylee celebrated her second birthday 5 days after Dallin. She didn't have much clue about what a birthday was, but she knew it was HER day. Whenever someone would say the word birthday she would yell "MY BIRTHDAY!!" She also knew just what to do with the presents and was more than excited about her cake. She liked getting to open some mail, especially the hair clips from her cousin. She had to have the clips put in her hair right away, even though she was still in her jammies and had super messy hair. (Notice the photo) Anyway, what a fun girl we have. I can't believe she is 2!

Dallin's Birthday

Dallin celebrated his 5th birthday last month! I can't believe how old and big he is getting! For his birthday he had a train cake (which I didn't spend much time on, because we were planning a bigger and better train cake for his real party, but that never happened...oops) We also took him to the YMCA and let him go rock climbing, which he really enjoyed! He liked all his gifts, and also enjoyed getting several birthday cards and some money in the mail!! He was so excited to have "cash." He also got a marble race game from the Carter grandparents and has spent HOURS playing with it, which means Mommy has spent hours playing it as well. He can build his own tracks but he likes Mommy to build the tracks pictured in the instructions. Then he wants me to play with him by putting the marbles down one side while he does the other side. (And I actually like playing so it's no big deal. Until one of the other kids decides they want my attention.) Since Dallin's birthday he has already started asking for things for his next birthday. He talks about it like it is just a few weeks away. Ah, kids and their lack of perspective on time!
