Since Brylee and Dallin's birthdays are only 5 days apart we did a combined birthday for them when their Bushman Grandparents were in town. Then Dallin also had a friend party a week later.
Dallin and his friends. (They are wearing train conductor hats)
This is the cake from Dallin's friend party. I used homemade fondant, and it tasted amazing. I'm not normally a fan of fondant, but this was good. Unfortunately it wasn't so easy to work with, as you can see from the pics. Lucky for me, Dallin LOVED it anyway!
His new pose. Brian calls it the 'Zoolander' pose. This was the only face we could get him to do.
A Chess set. (Plus it has 9 other games with it) Dallin learned to play chess one day at a friends house and he is in love. He memorized all the rules just after playing that one day, and he just can't get enough of it now. His school has a Chess club, I am going to sign him up for that next year.
Brylee got another Our Generation doll. (Targets version of the American Girl dolls, WAY cheaper) She was having a princess cake and therefore had to dress as a princess. (Thanks cousin Rayne for all the pretty dresses!!)
Zoolander, again.
Pretty Princess Brylee. Loved her Cinderella cake.
Waiting for her party to start. She never smiles this big for the camera, that tells you she is SUPER excited.
What fun kids I have. I can't believe they are a year older already. Time is just flying by.
