Brylee is potty trained! She has been house broken for a month now! We love not having to change diapers anymore, and Brylee loves wearing panties. What we do not like, however, is how distracted she can get. She will sit on the pot and start to go, then realize that she would like a different stool at her feet than the one that is there. So instead of finishing her business and waiting til the next time she needs to go to get a new stool, she must stop and change stools right then. (At least she doesn't pee on the floor) She also thinks it is funny to put her feet in the trash can next to the pot, or put her leg in the toilet while she is sitting on it. Apparently it is also a good idea to put your head between your legs while going potty so that you can see everything that is going on in the toilet. It can be quite entertaining to take her potty sometimes. Oh, and she always has a preference of what bathroom she wants to use. If you go to the wrong bathroom when she says she has to go potty, she will let you know and make sure you go to the correct bathroom to help her.
We are actually really lucky to have her potty trained! She was out of diapers at 22 months and she even keeps herself dry at night! That was a surprise to us, we didn't expect that to happen for awhile. I'm sure the whole potty training thing was made easier because her older siblings were potty trained and she had them to watch. (which actually caused problems in the beginning because she thought she should pee standing up as well)
All in all we are glad to have a break from diapers for the next 4 or 5 months! Then we can start all over again... :)
